Ranbir Kapoor refuses South film remakes

Bollywood has now become accustomed to remaking many South Indian films which have proven to be very successful. However, actor Ranbir Kapoor doesn’t believe in the concept of remaking a film from another industry.

According to Times of India, there have been directors and also producers who have wanted to approach Kapoor for their Hindi versions of the films. However, the actor has declined. With the huge success of his latest film ‘Barfi’ (2012), it’s no surprise that Kapoor is on most people’s wishlist.

However, one can never say never. If it’s a great script and a perfect role for Kapoor, let’s hope he doesn’t look away the idea forever.
