Ranbir Kapoor – Katrina Kaif to resume ‘Jagga Jasoos’ in January

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif will resume shooting for ‘Jagga Jasoos’ in January.

The film, which was earlier delayed for a release this year, is now being readied for summer 2016. Confirming the news, Kapoor told Mid-Day, “A schedule is lined up from January and the film will release around June. There has been much talk about the film being reshot. But you can reshoot only if a film has been shot. ‘Jagga Jasoos’ is only 50 per cent complete.”

Kapoor also spoke highly of director Anurag Basu, who is behind ‘Jagga Jasoos’. He said, “He’s a mad guy. He does not work with a script. He is attempting something he has not done before. It is a musical, so it is taking time. It was only when the film was complete and I sat down with my co-stars Priyanka (Chopra) and Ileana (D’Cruz) for a preview that I realised what he had been up to. It was like ‘wow, this is what we have done’.”

Kapoor will take a break from his current film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, while Kaif will do the same with ‘Baar Baar Dekho’. Kapoor is also currently on a promotional spree for ‘Tamasha’.
