Ranbir Kapoor: “I want my own children, my wife, I want to have my own family”

Currently promoting his much awaited film ‘Sanju’, Ranbir Kapoor has revealed that one day he would like to settle down and have his own family.

In an interview with GQ magazine, Kapoor admitted to dating Alia Bhatt who will be his co-star in his other film ‘Brahmastra’, but says it’s “Too new”.

Reported on Pinkvilla, Kapoor who took to Twitter to chat with fans via the handle of co-producers, one fan asked when he intended on getting married. Kapoor’s response was, “Hopefully soon!”. The ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ (2016) actor revealed how at a very young age he always believed he would get married young and and had children by the age of 30. “When I was younger, I used to believe that I’ll get married at the age of 27. I’ll have kids by the time I am 29-30. I’ll have two kids. But life doesn’t go how you plan it. It’s how you and your partner decide that now let’s take it to the next level. And it happens very naturally and organically.” Further adding, “I believe in the institution of marriage. I want my own children, my wife, I want to have my own family. I hope that I’ll have that privilege soon.”

Coincidentally in a separate interview Bhatt said she may surprise her fans and get married before she turned 30. Are things getting serious between the two? Guess we will have to wait and see.

‘Sanju’ will see Kapoor essaying the role of Sanjay Dutt, directed by RajKumar Hirani the film is set to release on the 29th June.
