Ranbir Kapoor: “I hardly talk to Kareena; I am very close to Saif”

With a few days to go, Ranbir Kapoor is busy promoting his forthcoming film ‘Sanju’. Kapoor who was recently on Ishq FM shared a bit about his relationship with his cousin Kareena Kapoor Khan and brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan.

As reported on Pinkvilla, the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ (2016) actor was asked if he and the ‘Veere Di Wedding’ (2018) star gossip, Kapoor said he isn’t touch with Bebo that much, but is closer to the ‘Rangoon’ (2017) actor instead. “Zyadatar Kareena aur main baat nahi karte (Kareena and I hardly talk). We meet very rarely. I am very close to Saif, my brother-in-law. Our sensibilities are very similar – Saif and mine. I really enjoy meeting him, talking to him.”  In jest, Kapoor said these were all excuses to see his nephew.

Asked about Taimur Ali Khan, Kapoor said he is as smitten with him just like everyone else. Jokingly Kapoor said that his nephew is more popular than him and he is recognised as his uncle.

Even though Kapoor says he’s happy seeing his photos in the media, and that he deserves the attention as he’s a cute kid, he also feels there is too much attention on him which isn’t healthy.

‘Sanju’ is releasing on the 29th June and is directed by RajKumar Hirani.
