Was Ranbir Kapoor first choice for ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’?

Shah Rukh Khan has jokingly revealed that Ranbir Kapoor was the first choice for Imtiaz Ali’s next ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’.

Kapoor and Ali have worked together on a number of projects like ‘Tamasha’ (2015) and ‘Rockstar’ (2011) but for his next, Ali selected Khan as his leading star.

At an event, Khan jokingly said, “Ranbir free nahi tha, isliye mujhe cast kar kiya Imtiaz ne.”

‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ releases in August.
