Ranbir Kapoor to film drug phase in Dutt biopic

Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for the next phase of shooting in the Sanjay Dutt biopic. This phase is focussed on Dutt’s period in drug rehabilitation.

Kapoor, who has taken a break from shooting the Rajkumar Hirani directed film to promote ‘Jagga Jasoos’, will be getting back on set in New York.  This will mark the period of Dutt’s life during the 80s where he confessed to having a drug addiction and was then admitted into rehab in the US to overcome his addiction. According to BollywoodLife these will be some of the most intense scenes in the film. Kapoor will also be joined by Vicky Kaushal and Anushka Sharma for the shooting.

Kapoor is co-inciding filming with participating in the IIFAs 2017 which are also being held in New York this year.
