Ranbir Kapoor approached for ‘Mogul’?

After Akshay Kumar’s exit from the biopic on Gulshan Kumar and Aamir Khan Productions entry as producers, it seems Ranbir Kapoor could end up bagging the titular role of the movie.

It seems both Bhushan Kumar and Aamir Khan are keen on having Kapoor on board. Kumar, when asked a few months back had said, according to DNA, “We haven’t finalised the lead, but we will have a younger star in the film”.

A source also added, “Bhushan feels Ranbir will suit the character. Since he is a good actor and has a good market value as well, the makers felt he was the perfect choice to play Gulshan Kumar. They have even discussed the whole idea with him, but they haven’t arrived at a decision yet… Aamir met the Kapoor scion and tried to convince him to do the film”.

After ‘Sanju’ (2018), it would be interesting to see Kapoor in another biopic and one that is far away from the first. It remains to be seen whether he signs on the dotted line.
