Ranbir Kapoor approached for ‘Ittefaq’ remake?

Ranbir Kapoor is said to have been approached by Abhay Chopra, son of filmmaker, Ravi Chopra, who is remaking the 1969 thriller ‘Ittefaq’.

The original, which starred Rajesh Khanna and Nanda proved a box office hit. Chopra is said to be revamping the script to give it a modern touch.

Chopra said, ���Yes, it�۪s one of the films we are developing, but we can�۪t talk more at this time.�۝ The trade is abuzz that Abhay�۪s friend Ranbir Kapoor has been approached, but the filmmaker denies it.
