Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma to lead promotions for ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’

Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ is already one of the most awaited releases of this year; with a star-cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, it also benefits from a peppy and vibrant soundtrack and more recently, the movie has faced backlash due to Fawad Khan’s cameo following Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA) ban on Pakistani actors, nonetheless generating further attention for itself.

Following this, the makers have decided to put a strong promotional plan to create the right buzz for the film in a span of 15 days before it’s release on 28th October.

According to��India Today, sources confirmed, “We are grateful to our fans for their love and support for the trailer, songs and music. We definitely have plans to promote the film. We will be doing events and going on reality shows.”

Although Johar came out in support for the ‘Kapoor and Sons’ (2016) star, promotions will be headed by lead pair Kapoor and Sharma.

“We are waiting for Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor to kick start the promotions as they are busy with their prior commitments. They will be there to promote the film from mid October. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan��will also be part of the promotions. All four Karan, Ranbir, Anushka and Aishwarya will promote the film. Fawad Khan is having a special appearance so he wont be promoting the film,” sources said.

Sharma is currently engaged in Lisbon shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s next in which she stars opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
