Ranbir Kapoor almost signed for ‘Saare Jahaan Se Achcha’?

BizAsiaLive.com reported recently that Ranbir Kapoor could be seen playing astronaut Rakesh Sharma in his biopic, being made by Roy Kapur Films. However, it seems he’s yet to sign on the dotted line for the film, titled ‘Saare Jahaan Se Achcha’.

The actor played Sanjay Dutt in his biopic which released last year and he’s therefore a little apprehensive about delving into another biopic so soon. A source reportedly told Deccan Chronicle, “Ranbir loved the script. His only reservation is about entering the biopic space so soon after Sanju. But the producers have almost convinced him to play India’s most distinguished astronaut”.

It seems the actor could give his nod soon, and the audiences will see him enter this new genre.

He’s all set to be seen next in ‘Brahmastra’, alongside Alia Bhatt.
