Ranbir-Deepika do take after take

'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' to release in March 2013

Italways takesmore than one shot to make a scene perfect, making re-takes inevitable for filmmakers to be happy with what they have. However, when things get too much, it can cause a bit of awkwardness between the cast and crew, which is exactly what has happened during the shooting of Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’, with Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor.

According to Mid-Day,the film’s shooting has already over-run its schedule due to the director asking for too many re-takes. A source revealed, “A few days ago, Ayan made Ranbir and Deepika repeat the same scene for 11 times over an hour and half. Both Dippy and RK were very irritated, as both of them are known to be very spontaneous actors.”

Not only that, the film has gone through many changes from its original plan withthe main change being in the locations. The film is currently scheduled to be shooting in France, having alreadybeen to Manali, Rajasthan and Mumbai. Despite all this, apparently there is still around 40% of the film left to shoot.

Let’s hope Mukerji meets the schedules coming up to the film’s release in March 2013.
