Ranbir-Alia’s December wedding news circulates during lockdown

Superstar couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been, like everyone else, under home quarantine. And although its yet to be confirmed that they’ve moved in together, various reports state that they are taking their relationship to the next level by getting married in December this year.

According to reports, the couple’s family are deciding whether the pair should have their wedding closer to the end of the year. The wedding celebrations are expected to kick off from 21st December, but plans remain to be confirmed due to the coronavirus outbreak, reports Mid-Day.

The couple also recently joined forces on the professional front for the first time with Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra.’ The movie is due for release on 4th December which, much like everything else, remains to be confirmed due to the current pandemic.

A source said in regards to the wedding, “It was earlier planned as a destination wedding. but now. the families have decided to go ahead with the band-baaja-baaraat in Mumbai. in the last 10 days of December. Thankfully, Rishi’s [Kapoor] health is much better, so the family is looking forward to the celebrations. The wedding functions will tentatively kick off on December 21 and will be spread over four days. But the dates are yet to be locked given the current situation.”
