Rana Daggubati: “I would like to do something with Dulquer in the future”

Rana Daggubati, friend of the multi-talented South Indian star Dulquer Salmaan, has expressed that he would like to one day work with Salmaan.

Salman who has appeared in 26 films till date, covering Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, has impressed his good friend Daggubati so much that he would like the opportunity to collaborate with him. Cited in the Indian Express, Daggubati said, “Dulquer Salmaan is a very fine actor and a very dear friend. I am very happy with the kind of progress he is making with his cinema. I would like to do something with him in the future.”

Daggubati had starred in the Tamil comedy drama titled ‘Bangalore Naatkal’ (2016), which was a remake of the film ‘Bangalore Days’ (2014) that had starred Salman in a pivotal role.

“Bangalore Days… I was a part of its Tamil remake. The film did terribly (at the box office). I wish we hadn’t remade such a beautiful film, but I was just greedy to play the role of (actor) Fahadh Faasil in the original film,” said Daggubati.
