Ramy Nasser appointed Vice President, Corporate Development, EMEA at ScreenHits TV

ScreenHits TV has announced the newly appointed role of VP of Corporate Development, EMEA – Ramy Nasser who will manage key functions, including: partnerships development, strategic growth initiatives and international sales. He will be based out of Munich, Germany and will initially develop the German speaking region as well as further territories across continental Europe.

ScreenHits TV allows users to integrate their existing streaming platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Britbox, ITV Hub, BBC iPlayer, Kidoodle, Eurosport, AVOD, Live Channels and more into one easy to use app. Available via desktop and soon to be available via Samsung/LG Plus Smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV Stick, Roku Stick, Apple Store, Google Chromecast, iOS and Android.

Nasser previously served as the International Director at Germany’s leading media group ProSiebenSat1 Media SE. On a holding level he was overarching responsible for international partnerships and scaling the digital portfolio to EMEA and overseas regions. Backed by ProSiebenSat1 Media SE, Nasser in 2014 founded the European Media Alliance that became a recognized framework and the first international entertainment alliance and totally unique of its kind. In its peak days, the alliance consisted of 12 tier 1 media broadcasters, covering 19 markets across EMEA. Amongst others, the European Media Alliance became an enabler for the internationalization of Studio 71, now one of the largest Multi-Channel Networks worldwide.

Prior to these roles, Nasser worked for the Japanese cooperation SHARP in the mobile & connected consumer electronics division to promote and launch consumer devices across EMEA via telco, media and retail partners. He is known for bringing the first 3D smartphone to the European market. In parallel to his roles, Nasser occasionally supports as a senior advisor within the media & entertainment ecosystem. Nasser holds a diploma degree in Business Administration & Economics from the University of Hannover, Germany and California State Polytech University Pomona, USA.
