Director Ramesh Sippy decided to skip the trailer launch event of ‘Sholay 3D’ on Thursday due to family issues between the Sippy brothers.
Mid-Day reports that the film’s writers Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar unveiled the film’s first look. The entire Sippy family was also present except for Ramesh Sippy.
Producer Jayantilal Gada says, ���We had invited Ramesh Sippy but he refused to attend the event because of family issues. We then thought it was best to start the promotions with the film�۪s writer duo Salim-Javed.�
Adds Gada, ���We will approach him again and I hope he agrees to promote the film as he is the director and he deserves to be a part of it.�
