‘Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush’ to go off-air in midst of controversy?

Swastik Productions’ mythological series ‘Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush’ was dragged into controversy a few days ago after hurting the religious sentiments of the Valmiki community. It now seems broadcaster, Colors has decided to pull the plug on the show.

Reports say that ‘Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush’ could be ending in October, due to pressure from a section of the audience and the community.

As well as a number of viewers, singer and politician Hans Raj Hans asked the Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar to ban the show in various parts of Punjab. This led to protests by the Valmimki community.

Colors is yet to confirm the developments.
