Ram Kapoor accused of cheating & deception

Popular actor Ram Kapoor has been accused of cheating and deception for not repaying a loan worth Rs. 35 lakhs.

Mumbai Mirror reports that the actor had borrowed money on the basis he would return it within a money at an interest of 24 per cent but he has reportedly failed to do so.

The firm’s counsel Siddharth Srivastava told Mumbai Mirror, “A criminal complaint with regard to the case has been filed at the Esplanade court in the matter last month.”

Kapoor told The Indian Express, “The matter is in the hands of the authorities and I have full faith that they will see it through.”
