Ram Gopal Varma dedicates erotic thriller ‘Single X’ to Censor Board

Ram Gopal Varma has always been a little bit controversial with his films. His latest short film, titled ‘Single X’, is bold, as the poster shows. He said on Twitter that is is dedicating the ‘X’ to the Censor Board.

He has launched an online theatre called RGV Talkies, which will seemingly avoid the Censor Board treatment. He told Mumbai Mirror, “There are so many interesting stories which can be told in five-20 minutes which if stretched can lose their steam”.

He added that the short films will be of the religious kind, “But RGV Talkies will absolutely not release films made on God because I don’t believe in God, sports because I hate sports and definitely not romantic comedies because I take love and sex very seriously”.

The filmmaker said that he will give chances to anyone who wants to make a short film as long as the story fits in with his sensibilities.
