After four years, Ram Gopal Varma and Amitabh Bachchan are set to collaborate once again. The pair has worked together on several films such as ‘Sarkar’ (2005), ‘Aag’ (2007) and ‘Rann’ (2010).
Reported on Box Office Worldwide, a source revealed, “Ramu has written a script which he had been planning to make for the last few years. He has shifted base from Mumbai to Goa right now and he offered the film to Amitabh Bachchan. Big B has been approached for the lead role and the megastar has not only liked the project but also gave a nod to the same.”
The film is slated to go on floors next year once the ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ (2020) actor has completed his ongoing projects, such as, ‘Brahmastra’, ‘The Intern’ remake and ‘Deadly’.
As for Varma, he is currently working on his web series ‘D Company’, which is based on Dawood Ibrahim’s life. Once the second instalment is completed he will commence work on the film with the ‘Badla’ (2019) star.
