Rakul Preet to play Sridevi in NTR biopic?

The upcoming NTR biopic will see Vidya Balan make her debut in Telugu cinema. Another name which has recently been added to the cast is Rakul Preet who will apparently be taking on the late Sridevi’s part.

“Rakul was approached for the role and the actress was elated to be part of the project. However, the date clash could be a problem. But things are still in the nascent stage and it’s premature to comment,” said a source, as quoted by Box Office India.

Sridevi and NTR have worked together and makers wanted an actress to play the part who would be able to replicate the beauty and nuances of the late actress.
