Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra begins work on next film?

Following the poor reception of ‘Mirzya’ (2016) at the box office, which marked the debut of Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher, filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has reportedly already started working on his next film.

Apparently with the final draft written by Kamlesh Pandey – with whom Mehra has previously worked in ‘Rang De Basanti’ (2006) and ‘Delhi-6’ (2009) – completed, the director will soon start narrating the script to actors. No names have yet been reported, however, it is said Mehra has decided to work with the best in the business.

The film will go to floors early next year and will probably release by the end of 2017.

Meanwhile, Mehra is already working with Anil Kapoor for an upcoming film titled ‘Fanney Khan’.
