Rakesh Roshan to sue actor Sudhanshu Pandey

Director Rakesh Roshan has filed a case against actor Sudhanshu Pandey for defamation, following Pandey previously pressing charges against Roshan.�� Roshan has apparently pressed charges of theft and fraud of a script for a film slated to release next month.

It occurred during the first script reading among Pandey, Hrithik Roshan and director Sunjay Gupta. Roshan had decided to release the film under his banner FilmKRAFT Productions. Pandey states he was offered two percent of the profits and would take credit as associate producer. However, Pandey was not to take credit for the screenplay, story and dialogues, and due to this Pandey decided to press charges against Roshan.�� Roshan denies Pandey’s charges and is thus seeking compensation for damages. Roshan believes that Pandey is defaming him and director Gupta.

Commenting on the issue, Roshan told Mid-Day, “Yes, I am filing a criminal defamation suit against him. That’s all I can say for now.”

The filmmaker, who last directed ‘Krrish 3’ (2013), has allegedly instructed his lawyers with regards to filing the defamation suit.

“He is in no mood to remain mum over the allegations which threaten to tarnish his name and image in the industry,” a source informed Mid Day.
