Rakesh Bapat lands part opposite Kareena Kapoor

Actor from Star Plus’ hit show ‘Maryaada…Lekin Kab Tak’, Rakesh Bapat has landed a small role opposite Kareena Kapoor in Madhur Bhandarkar’s much talked about film ‘Heroine’.

According to The Times Of India, “”Rakesh will play a superstar in the movie who falls in love with Kareena during the shooting of their movie. However, their equation changes after the movie becomes a hit at the box office. Rakesh’s character earns more accolades than Kareena’s because of the male dominant industry. His character is deliberately being kept under wraps along with a few other characters, as Bhandarkar wants to present them as the surprise package in the film.”

In ‘Maryaada’ recently, his character Aditya has been coming to terms with his brother Gaurav’s sexuality who admitted he was gay.
