Rajshri readies new shows for ZEE TV & NDTV

Rajshri Productions is readying the launch of two new shows, which will screen on ZEE TV and NDTV Imagine in the coming months.

The drama on ZEE TV, which is tentatively titled ‘Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli’ will star Suhasi Goradia. The show is expected to launch sometime by December.

A source told TellyChakkar, “This is a very soft and emotional story of a young woman who gets married into the same family where she used to play ghar ��� ghar (a childhood game played by Indian kids) as a child. Actress Suhasi Goradia who was last seen in Aek Chabhi Hai Padoss Mein has been approached and has almost been finalized to play the lead.”

Goradia has also been lined up to star in NDTV Imagine’s new show, also with Rajshri Productions. Titled ‘Jodiyaa’, the show will have several other popular faces.

A source told TellyChakkar, “The show will have Ali Merchant, Shubhangi Aatre and Shaleen Bhanot in the lead. Actress Nupur Joshi who was last seen in ZEE TV�۪s Rakhi will be seen in the show. The show will mark a comeback for Shaleen Bhanot and Nupur Joshi who were nowhere to be seen after their respective shows Nach Baliye 4 and Rakhi concluded.”

“The show is about a twist of fate where Shubhangi who is actually in love with Ali Merchant gets married to Shaleen Bhanot. Apparently, Nupur then enters to salvage the situation for Ali and starts liking him. The show is about the surprises destiny offers and how one of the leads gets married to someone she doesn�۪t love and that is why the title Jodiyaa. The shoot of the show will start sometime next week and will launch sometime in September”, says our source.

The production house currently only has ‘Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki’ on-air on Sahara One.
