After the success of ‘Stree’ last year, Rajkummar Rao is geared up for his next horror comedy, which has been christened ‘Rooh-Afza’.
Mid-Day reports that the film revolves around a singing ghost, who puts grooms to sleep so it can possess their brides. It is co-produced by ‘Stree’ producer Dinesh Vijan and Mrighdeep Lamba, director of the ‘Fukrey’ franchise.
A leading actress in the film is yet to be confirmed. Earlier BizAsiaLive.com reported that Janhvi Kapoor is favourite to bag the lead role. However, no official confirmation could be reached.
The film also stars Varun Sharma. It will be based in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad.
