Rajkummar Rao to resume shooting for ‘Fanney Khan’ next week

Rajkummar Rao is set to return to shooting for ‘Fanney Khan’ after being away for a month resting his injury that he sustained during the shoot.

Pinkvilla reports that Rao and Aishwarya Rai Bacchhan will shoot a factory in Bhandup, after, which the film will wrap up. All that will remain are the songs in the film featuring the actress.

A source told the publication, “The last talkie portions between Aishwarya, Anil and Rajkummar will be shot a factory in Bhandup. It’s their remaining combination scenes and will be shot over three days, either from December 5-7 or 6-8 depending on the artistes dates. Aishwarya’s songs will be shot after that in January 2018. Rajkummar broke his ankle in October while shooting for Farah Khan’s Lip Sing Battle and his combination scenes with Anil and Aishwarya had to be postponed by more than a month. Anil and Aishwarya’s dates went for a toss and some dates got wasted but they had no choice. Now those scenes will be shot from next week.”

Anil Kapoor, who also stars in the film, will return from Germany, where he was for knee surgery himself. The source added, “First Anil will shoot with Aishwarya and then it will be Rajkummar and Aishwariya, so this will be his first shot post his ankle fracture. Aishwarya also shot last week for her solo portions. She is a thorough professional. Even after she finished her shot, though her co-actor was still shooting, out of courtesy, she waited till pack-up was announced and only then left.”
