Rajkummar Rao on receiving international offers post ‘The White Tiger’

Rajkummar Rao has definitely come under the international radar after his role in ‘The White Tiger’ which released earlier this year on Netflix. The actor has confirmed he’s been receiving international offers.

“I did get some opportunities post it but am waiting for something exciting to come my way. It would be fun to explore work in the west as I had a great time being a part of this”, said Rao, as quoted by Hindustan Times.

He shared his feelings of ‘The White Tiger’ receiving positive reviews, “The film has done phenomenally well worldwide. The kind of love I got from all over the world is overwhelming and for me to get an opportunity to work with Ramin (Bahrani, director) was a great experience. I’ve learnt a lot while filming it and would cherish that process forever”.

His latest offering ‘Roohi’ was the first film to release in cinemas in India after they stopped due to the pandemic. “Keeping the pandemic in mind, I would always encourage people to abide by the rules of the authorities and take proper precautions. Our film doing well at the box office is a sign that our audiences are ready to watch films in theatres again. I must say that the experience of watching a film on a big screen is something you can’t recreate anywhere else”, he shared.
