Rajkummar Rao on ‘ELKDTAL’: “I just wanted to be part of this story”

Rajkummar Rao is known for making film choices in which he shows off his versatility. In ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’, he plays a character who he thought was unique.

Talking to Box Office India, the actor said about his character, “He is selfless, He is a great friend who can be a great lover.I was doing a lot of small-town characters, trying to make them different…My character, Sahil Mirza, speaks a really nice language, a mix of Urdu and Hindi. This was the uniqueness I thought I should explore.”

He went on to say, “I just wanted to be part of this story. It is a very special film made with a lot of love and with a lot of passion”.

The film also stars Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla and is scheduled for release on 1st February.
