Rajkumar Irani: “I definitely want to make a sequel to 3 Idiots”

There are many films that leave a genuine impression with, and through their story, and Aamir Khan starrer ‘3 Idiots’ (2009) is one of them. The film resonated in many hearts, and director Rajkumar Hirani is ready to direct a sequel, but says it will take time to develop.

Hirani told Mid-Day, “I definitely want to make a sequel to 3 Idiots. In fact, Abhijat [Joshi, writer] and I started writing something a few days ago. But it’s still in the initial stage and we will take a fair amount of time to develop the script.”

‘3 Idiots’ also starred R. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi.
