Rajkumar Hirani, who has stunned the audience with his extraordinary stories, especially with his last ‘PK’ (2014), is all geared up to venture into theatre. The director-producer will be directing his sister Anju Kishinchandani’s play ‘Growing Up,’ whichwill revolve around puberty.

According to the DeccanChronicle, Hirani was quite excited totake up the project and encouraged his sister to takethe subject forward and makeit into afilm or play. The play will put a humorous spin on puberty, and Hirani feels that it would initiate a positive reaction to the subject, since it becomes awkward for parents to sit down with their children, and discuss the sensitive issues pertaining to it. He felt that this would also encourage open communication between parents and their children.

Sister Anju is also excited to have her brother’s support. Hirani will next be producing, the upcoming ‘Wazir’, with Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and starring Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar. The film is slated to release on 2nd October.
