Rajkumar Hirani replaced in next ‘Munnabhai’?

The original director of the ‘Munnabhai’ franchise, Rajkumar Hirani has been replaced, according to a report in Mid-Day.

Apparently producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra has roped in Subhash Kapoor (Phas Gaya Re Obama and Jolly LLB) to direct the third part of the ‘Munnabhai’ film.

A source told the publication, ���The third installment is one of the biggest and the most awaited films today. Hirani was involved in the process of finding a replacement director. Vinod, Raju and writer Abhijat Joshi saw Jolly LLB in a special screening and liked the film very much. They felt that Subhash�۪s sensibility matched what they were looking for.�۝
