With Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir Khan having teamed up again last year to produce yet another super hit with ‘PK'(2014), there was much speculation as to other industries wanting to have their own spin on the film.

At a time where every film industry is being inspired by each other, there has been much speculation as to how many other Asian film industries have shown interest in re-making the film. In favour of some of the filmmaker’s pleas, Hirani has spoken out stating he has yet to sell the rights of the film and is only in the initial stages of doing so,”We haven;t sold the rights (of ‘PK’) yet. Some people have called. Some conversation is happening but nothing has been finalised yet.”

So it’s clear that the filmmaker isn’t saying no and it’s great to see that he is open to the idea of letting other industries have their own take of his film. There are rumours flying around stating that south actor Kamal Hassan is the one Hirani is in talks with.

‘PK’ starred Aamir Khan, Anushka Shrama, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjay Dutt.
