Rajinikanth leaves ‘Kaala’ shoot for medical check-up
Superstar Rajinikanth has been going to America every year around the same time for a medical check-up. This time however, he left the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Kaala’ midway and rushed for an appointment along with daughter, Aishwarya.
Rajinikanth has been a busy man these past few months. He has been swapping between shooting for ‘Kaala’ and finishing off the dubbing for ‘2.0’ With so much on his schedule, the 66-year old star’s health may have finally taken a toll on him, reports Spotboye.
He rushed to the US late Wednesday night with just his elder daughter Aishwarya in company. It was based on a last minute decision to fly to the US.
Sources close to the star say that he has gone to the US for a regular round of check-ups and there is nothing serious. Rajinikanth is expected to return back to Chennai on 10th July 10, and a couple of days later he will return back to the sets of ‘Kaala.’
In ‘Kaala,’ Rajinikanth plays a slum-lord-turned-gangster. The Tamil-Hindi bilingual film will be dubbed into various other languages. This is the second time Rajinikanth will be directed by Pa Ranjith. His last film ‘Kabali’ (2016), which went on to become the highest grossing Tamil film ever, was their first collaboration with each other.
