Rajinikanth hospitalised; remains in stable condition

Veteran actor Rajinikanth has been admitted to a private hospital in Chennai.

His wife, Latha, reassured fans by telling News18, “All is well.” Initial reports indicated that the actor had complained of stomach pain, but sources have clarified that the ‘Vettaiyan’ star is set to undergo an elective procedure today, 1st October, which had been pre-scheduled.

A hospital source told PTI, “His condition is stable following his admission for digestive discomfort. He will undergo an elective procedure in the cath lab to address a problem near his abdomen and will later be shifted to a room.”
