Rajesh Khanna’s statue to be unveiled for 1st year death anniversary

In memory of the late Rajesh Khanna, rumour has it that a statue will be unveiled in celebration of his life.

To be unveiled at The Walk Of The Stars��at Bandra Bandstand Promenade, hosted by TV channel UTV Stars, Times of India reported the channel announcing in a statement, “UTV Stars will commemorate Rajesh Khanna’s inimitable style and charismatic smile in a life-size brass statue. The brass statue will immortalise one of his iconic poses from his films and will be unveiled by the actor’s family amongst well-known names from the industry.”

Khanna’s statue will be placed alongside those of Yash Chopra and Dev Anand. The statue is to be installed permanently in August.
