The Sunrise Radio Group has reported some shocking RAJAR results for Q4 of 2012, particularly flagship station Sunrise Radio in Greater London. Looking over the Breakfast shows on all three Sunrise Radio Group stations, the numbers continue to disappoint.

Sunrise Radio’s Breakfast with Andy Gill pulled in 105,000 listeners in Q3/11 but was down this quarter to just 84,000. Over the past year, the flagship show has lost 45,000 listeners.

Kismat Radio’s new Gujarati Breakfast show as part of the station’s emphasis on regional languages, could only deliver 16,000 – down from 23,000 in Q3/12. Over the past twelve months, Kismat Radio’s Breakfast show has lost 18,000 listeners.

Buzz Asia was the only consistent station with no change since the previous quarter. The Doni Brasco fronted programme attracted 40,000 listeners – same as Q3/12. Over the past twelve months, the show has lost 7,000 listeners.
