RAJAR: Q1/12 London Breakfast shows data

Sunrise Radio still holds the title of most listened to Asian breakfast radio show in London, according to official data supplied by RAJAR.

Even the station’s audience has had a hit in Greater London, listeners had increased to Andy Gill’s weekday morning slot between 06:00 – 09:00 during the three months ending April 2012. Its weekly reach had risen from 129,000 to 158,000 – an increase of 29,000 extra listeners over the quarter.

Buzz Asia’s breakfast show hosted by Doni Brasco was also up from 47,000 to a weekly reach of 51,000. Over the year, the show has picked up an extra 14,000 listeners.

Kismat Radio’s flagship morning show was down by 1,000 from a weekly reach of 34,000 to 33,000. Year-on-year, the show has lost 24,000 listeners.
