Rajan Singh appointed CEO of National Cricket League

Rajan Singh, former senior executive at Star TV UK, has been appointed Consultant CEO of the National Cricket League (NCL), a rising platform committed to bringing professional cricket to wider audiences across the United States and Canada.

Singh’s appointment follows his recent departure as CEO of EarthX, an international non-profit organisation focused on environmental advocacy. The announcement was made via his official social media channels.

In his statement, Singh expressed enthusiasm for the new role, noting, “I’m thrilled to share that I’ve stepped into a new chapter as Consultant CEO of the National Cricket League (NCL)—a fast-growing platform helping bring professional cricket to new audiences across the United States and Canada. After an incredible journey at EarthX, where I had the privilege of leading an international nonprofit organisation dedicated to inspiring people to act towards helping Mother Earth. Even with my new post, helping Mother Earth will be utmost in my mind. I’m excited to now help scale one of the most dynamic sports stories in North America. With the NCL expanding into new markets, my love for sports and particularly cricket—we’re building not just a league, but a national movement. Cricket is a global sport, and it’s time that Canada and the USA join the conversation in a big way. Huge thanks to Trammell S Crow and the EarthX team for the purpose-driven memories, and now onward to the pitch!”

Before founding Digi Media Global, Singh held senior leadership roles at some of India’s most prominent broadcasters. He served as EVP of International Business at Star Network, and later as EVP of International Business at Sony Entertainment Television, overseeing the global operations of SET, MAX, and SAB channels. He also held the position of CEO at ZEE TV for the UK and African regions.
