Rajan Shahi shows ‘Anupamaa’ & ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ win big at the International Iconic Awards
Be it ‘Anupamaa’, ‘Woh Toh Hai Albelaa’, or ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, producer Rajan Shahi seems to be on quite the winning streak. The International Iconic Awards were held recently and his shows won multiple awards.
Rajan was given the award for the ‘International Iconic Best Producer’ of all time of Indian Television 2023. While ‘Anupamaa’ was titled as ‘International Iconic Best Show of Indian Television 2023’, lead actress Rupali Ganguly bagged the award for ‘International Iconic Most Popular Actress of Indian Television’. Actress Alpana Buch, who plays the role of Baa in the show, won the award for the ‘International Iconic Best Saas of Indian Television 2023’, while actor Arvind Vaidya, who essays the role of Baapuji (Hasmukh Shah), was titled ‘International Iconic Best Pita of Indian television 2023’. Actor Ashish Mehrotra, who plays the role of Toshu in the show, bagged the award for ‘International Iconic Best Bhai of Indian Television 2023’. Actress Ashlesha Sawant, who plays Barkha Ankush Kapadia in the show, won ‘International Iconic Best Khalnayika of Indian Television 2023’.
Rajan Shahi was out of town. Speaking on stage Rupali Ganguly said, “I am grateful to Rajan Shahi and Directors Kut team. A show’s success is credited to the entire team and not one actor. Rajan Shahi surely knows the pulse of the audience.”
Meanwhile, actor Sagar Parekh, who plays Sagar in ‘Anupamaa’, was titled ‘International Iconic Best Beta of Indian Television 2023’. Little Asmi Deo was given the award for ‘International Iconic Best Child Actress of Indian Television 2023’.

This is not all! Actor Karan Veer Mehra, who is part of ‘Woh Toh Hai Albelaa’, bagged the award for ‘International Iconic Best Khalnayak of Indian television 2023’. Shaheer Shaikh and Hiba Nawab, lead jodi of the show, bagged the ‘International Iconic Couple of Indian Television 2023’ title.
Rajan’s ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ also won big. Actor Harshad Chopda, who plays the role of Abhimanyu in the show, won the award for ‘International Iconic Best Actor of Indian Television 2023’. Actress Karishma Sawant, who is seen as Arohi in the show, bagged the award for ‘International Iconic Best Supporting Actress of Indian Television 2023’. Lead actress Pranali Rathod was given the title of ‘International Iconic Desirable women of India 2023’ and Hiba Nawab won ‘International Iconic Actress of Indian Television 2023’.
Not only this, Gulshan won the award for ‘International Iconic Best Director of Photography of Indian Television 2023’ for the show ‘Anupamaa’, while Sameer Gandhi won the title of ‘International Iconic Best Editor’ for ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. Zama Habib also bagged the title of ‘International Iconic Best Writer Of Indian television 2023’ for the same show.
