Indian television’s most renowned producer, Rajan Shahi of Director’s Kut Productions (DKP) has expressed his joy at the return of his three shows on Star Plus later this month.
Shahi who helms India’s longest running fiction ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and popular series ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’, will return on Monday 13th July. While, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ will continue in its 21:30 slot, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ will shift to 21:00 (India only).
A new promo of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has already got fans buzzing in excitement. Lead star, Shivangi Joshi will take on two roles – Naira and Tina – in the show as a part of fun new storyline. The promo trended on social media immediately after it went on-air.
Without giving too much away, Shahi exclusively told BizAsiaLive.com, “Yes, lots of new surprises for ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’.”
Asked if his new show ‘Anupamaa’ would finally be launching on the same day, he said, “No comment as of now.” Earlier, ‘Anupamaa’ was to launch in mid-March in the 21:00 (India only) but was postponed due to the coronavirus lockdown. Now, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ has taken the 21:00 slot (India only), we asked Shahi if a new time slot for ‘Anupamaa’ had been confirmed. He said, “There will be a slot inter changing. In time, will let you know.”
Furthermore, Shahi took to his Instagram earlier, giving a cryptic clue about his three shows. He showed three fingers in a picture, with the caption, “3#THREE #TRIO#DKP #STAR PLUS# COMING SOON THU THU THU 🙏🙏🙏”.
With Star Plus still firming up its schedule ahead of the big return of fresh episodes on Monday 13th July, one thing is for sure, fans of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ can look forward to a huge treat in the coming days.
