Birmingham based Raj TV’s re-launch, which was expected to go live tomorrow, has now been postponed until March-end.
The delay is down to technical work, which is being carried out to allow live programming to broadcast direct from its suave studios in the Mailbox.
In its previous avatar, the channel was dependent on pre-recorded shows and jukebox-style music shows.
The channel has no plans to telecast movies as it wants to concentrate purely on live TV entertainment and information based shows.
The new-look Raj TV is also undergoing managerial changes in its infrastructure with the hiring of Mr Nazim Khan as the new CEO. He was previously with KPMG. Managing Director Raja Khan will focus his attention on the output of the channel.
