Raj & Pablo speak to Anurag Kashyap
The BBC Asian Network will air an interview that Raj & Pablo have recorded with renowned director Anurag Kashyap who talks about his latest film ��Gangs of Wasseypur�۪, which opened the London Indian Film Festival this week.
In the interview, the duo touch upon various subjects including the much awaited ‘Bombay Velvet, saying, “Next year it�۪s Bombay Velvet, a film that I�۪ve been waiting to do, starring Ranbir Kapoor, my first big star film and Anushka Sharma and Naseerudin Shah. The small experimental thriller will be called Agli around the end of this year starring not very well known faces ��� the biggest there is Ronit Roy.”
The director also talks about the huge 5-hour length of his movie, ��Gangs of Wasseypur�۪. He said, “You don�۪t feel the length, which is what people�۪s reaction has been, in festivals and abroad people have sat through 5 hours 20 minutes and say its seems shorter, but in India we are releasing the movie in two parts because they�۪re worried about the length of the movie.”
