Raj Babbar and Salma Agha who starred in films like ‘Nikaah’ (1982)��and ‘Salma’ (1985), could be starring in an upcoming film for a Kuwait based producer. If finalised, the movie will be shot in London and will be un Urdu and English.
According to the TOI, the producer has not met Babbar yet, but spoke to him on the phone, in regards to the upcoming project. Babbar said, “A Kuwait based producer wants to cast me along with Salma Agha for a movie which will be in Urdu and English. Nothing has been finalized as the producer has not met me yet. He called me up regarding a movie which will be shot in London.”
Along with being an actor, Babbar is also a Rajya Sabha MP in Uttarakhand. When asked which is the harder profession, he answered, “I have been doing 2-3 movies a year. I have always considered whatever is given to me as a task. I never thought whether I am playing a hero or a villain (in a movie). I always treat it as a role. Politics is a responsibility which I am trying to perform in the same way.”
Babbar was also seen in the Life Ok crime drama, ‘Pukaar-Call for the Hero’ (2014-2015), directed by Bollywood director-producer��Vipul Amrutlal��Shah, and starring Rannvijay Singha.
