Rahul Khanna on being missing from Bollywood

Rahul Khanna has not been seen in a Bollywood film for quite some time. However, when asked to comment on his B-town absence, Khanna did not quite agree with having been missing from the industry.

In an interview with Mid Day, Khanna said, “After ‘Love Aaj Kal’, I did ‘Wake Up Sid’ [both in 2009], then ‘Fireflies’ (2014) and also had an arc in 24’s Indian version, not to mention numerous events and appearances. So, I haven’t really been missing. I am constantly reading scripts, meeting people and always on the lookout for interesting new projects in India as well as abroad.”

It can be noted that Khanna’s brother, Akshaye Khanna, who had also been away for a long period of time, recently made a comeback with Rohit Dhawan’s ‘Dishoom’ (2016).
