Rahat Fateh Ali Khan denies being arrested in Dubai
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has firmly denied rumours of his arrest in Dubai. In a video shared on social media, Khan directly addressed the speculation, assuring his fans and the public that he is in Dubai for professional reasons and that there is no truth to the arrest claims.
In the video, Khan stated, “I am Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, your Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. I came here (to Dubai) to record songs… Everything is fine. I request you not to pay any attention to disgusting rumours. These reports are not true.” His message was clear: the news circulating about his supposed arrest is entirely baseless.
The video was accompanied by a caption from Khan’s team, reinforcing his message: “News circulating regarding the arrest of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is fake and baseless. Regards Team RFAK.”
The denial comes in response to earlier reports that alleged Khan had been arrested in connection with a defamation complaint filed by his former manager, Salman Ahmed. According to these reports, Khan had dismissed Ahmed a few months prior, following a dispute, which allegedly led to the legal action.
