Radio Pakistan to launch on Kismat Radio

As part of Kismat Radio’s huge programming overhaul, Radio Pakistan will make its launch on the station today.

As reported on BizAsia a few days ago, Kismat Radio is currently in revamp mode and has introduced four-hour strands to regional language strands including Gujarati, Punjabi and Urdu. While, Radio Gujarat will be pitted in the 20:00 – midnight slot daily, Radio Pakistan has been scheduled during drivetime hours of 16:00 and 20:00.

Radio Pakistan will be controlled by Aliya Qaiser who also fronts the Sunrise TV news and current affairs show in Urdu. Qaiser, as well as other station managers from each language strand will report to Sunrise Radio Group’s Chairman Dr Avtar Lit.
