Radio nominations confirmed for UK AMAs

This year’s UK Asian Music Awards (UK AMAs) nominations have been released and the shortlist for the ‘Best Radio Show’ category has also been confirmed.

Similar to last year, Bobby Friction and Nihal from the BBC Asian Network will fight out in the category. Neev from national digital station, Kiss and Noreen from the BBC Asian Network will compete amongst the ladies in the same category. Plus, new this year is Buzz Asia’s weekday afternoon presenter Nikki Neru.

The public is being invited to vote for their favourites under each
category by logging onto the official website,www.theukama.com.

The Lebara Mobile UK Asian Music Awards will be held on Thursday 10th March at the Roundhouse, Camden and hosted by BBC Radio 1 and BBC Asian Network presenter, Nihal and stunning singer and BBC One’s Waterloo Road actress, Karen David. Performing live on the night are Outlandish, Jernade Miah and an exclusive live band collaboration featuring H Dhami and Mumzy.

Highlights of the event will be broadcast on B4U Music and the BBC Asian Network.
