Radhika Apte secures second film with Akshay Kumar?

Radhika Apte has bagged herself another movie with Akshay Kumar. The pair are currently working on the upcoming ‘Padman’ which is set to release later this year.

According to Deccan Chronicle, a close source revealed that the script has not been finalised yet. “The second film is still in the scripting stage and will be announced soon by the producers.” Though a spokesperson for the ‘Parched’ (2016) star hasn’t confirmed any details.

With the new movie still very much under wraps, there has been a lot of talk around ‘Padman’. The story is about the economical sanitary napkin manufacturer, Arunachalam Muruganantham. This film is also being produced by Twinkle Khanna, making it her first.

Before Kumar snapped up the lead role, it was initially going to be played by a Tamil actor. Alongside Kumar and Apte, Sonam Kapoor will also be in a parallel lead role.
