Radhika Apte on a personal journey through her work

Radhika Apte has gained the image of being considered a meaningful performer but this has not been a conscious or planned path for the young actress.

Speaking to Hindustan Times about her career path so far, Apte said “It�۪s very instinctive. There is no planning behind it. The more challenging the roles are, the more attractive they are for me. The kind of roles I have done so far are quite real, you see such people around you.�۝

The ‘I Am’ (2010) and ‘Badlapur’ (2015) actress opened up about her journey so far saying ���My career is my personal journey. I came here because I wanted to act and my work gives me joy. That is the whole point of why I do films,�۝ she continued.

Apte is currently on screen in Leena Yadav’s ‘Parched’ (2016).
