Radhika Apte doesn’t hanker for solo roles

Radhika Apte, who rose to fame with her leaked naked bathing selfies, says that she might be insecure and jealous at times, just like others, but that doesn’t make her a competitive Bollywood girl. The actress also claims that she never looks for solo roles to sign a film.

“I don’t consider myself competitive. Everyone has jealousy and insecurities in their lives. Many a times, I feel insecure and jealous of what people are doing. But when I watch their work, I call them and appreciate their work, which clearly shows that I am not competitive,” Apte told Hindustan Times.

Apte, who received rave reviews for her work in ‘Badlapur’ (2015) starring Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, doesn’t like to choose film on the basis of it being a solo or ensemble cast project.��”I never even think about that. I never liked the solo main roles which came my way. I just try to be specific after knowing that my character is strong,” added the actress.

The actress’ latest release ‘Hunterrr’, which has been helmed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni, is based on the life of a sex-addict played by Gulshan Devaiah.
